What if my kid takes it off?
The clip is a reinforced two-finger pinch-release — easy for an adult, hard for small fingers under stress. The recommended attach points are the inside of a backpack zipper or a belt-loop with the tag tucked under the waistband, so the kid can't even see it. If you want maximum security, route a small zip-tie through the clip ring.
Does it work without WiFi or cell data?
